Check out the Amazon Kindle... downloading books isn't a new concept, but reading on a computer screen or PDA or cell phone isn't the most comfortable way to read. The text on the Kindle is soooo crisp, it's like reading ink on paper! Using a high speed wireless network connection (you don't have monthly service or subscription fees), you buy, download, and read books, resource material, newspapers, and blogs... I want one!!
At this point, it's not available through amazon.ca, and amazon.com doesn't ship to Canada. Greg at work bought one last night. This morning he discovered the wireless connection will not work in Canada; he will have to use a connection to the computer to download the books and transfer them to the Kindle.
